Mr. Roberts, Headteacher, says about the school's October 2017 Ofsted report that it is a genuine reflection of the significant change and improvement since taking over the school in September 2016.

In little over 44 teaching weeks the school has improved its outcomes at all levels and now we can officially say that the school no longer requires special measures.  We are clearly proud that our 6th Form provision is recognised as being ‘Good’, as this highlights the great work ethic that permeates through the building.

Ofsted note that pupils are making better progress as a result of high quality teaching and they further make the point that the trajectory of improvement in pupils' outcomes is set to continue over the coming years.
