World Challenge Training

Our World Challenge students had their first training expedition in Snowdonia over the weekend.

The students well and truly rose to the challenge. The weekend consisted of a technical challenge where we  trekked  through bogs and over rocky terrain and then an uphill climb on day two. The temperatures in Wales overnight tested us all but we began to get used to ‘tent life’ ahead of our summer in South Africa. We all got used to surviving on £3 budget for the weekend although we cheated a little bit and stopped at the McDonalds at the Services on the way home... well-deserved though!
