A visit from The Apprentice

Our Year 11 students had a very special guest speaker today, former Apprentice finalist Adam Corbally. Former Market trader Adam made it to the final of The Apprentice in 2013 after eleven weeks of challenges.

Adam started speaking professionally back in 2012 after he reached the final in season 8 of the hit T.V. show “The Apprentice” and very soon after became a member of the professional speakers association. Adam’s key note presentation focuses on his story when he left home and School at 16 years old with no qualifications and no hope managing to turn his life around to become a financial success although more importantly accomplish happiness and fulfilment in his own life.

Adam, started his fruit and veg stall on Glossop market aged 19. Adam’s message is about how to be the best version of yourself every day, surround yourself with brilliant people and bring out the best in those around you enabling you to create and take the opportunities that you deserve! Adam started his first business selling conkers in the School Yard aged 8 and since then has gone on to create and manage several successful companies, from setting up a fruit and Vegetable wholesale business as a teenager down his local market to owning his own property investment and management company in his early 20s. Adam loves promoting entrepreneurship and how business is simple, its people with the wrong attitude that make it difficult.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our Year 11’s to hear such an inspirational story at a very important time in their own lives, the build up to their GCSE exams.
