Liverpool Race Equality Task Force Education Event

The Liverpool Race Equality Task Force has agreed its priority areas that it will examine namely:

  • Education
  • Employment, Skills & The Economy
  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Crime & Community Safety
  • Culture

We are currently focussing on education first and will use several ways to explore the issues, engage in discussion, and receive evidence.  We will be holding a series of dialogues with practitioners and others who are engaged with education at all stages.

We are holding the sessions (below) to give you the opportunity to share your experience and views and raise the issues and concerns for BAME children, staff, parents and carers.  The dialogues will be an important part of the Taskforce’s work:

I would like to invite you to attend either or both of the following sessions:

  • Wednesday 21st October, 5.30 – 7.30pm - Discussion on Key Stages 3 to 5

Share your experience and views and raise the issues and concerns for BAME children, staff, parents and carers.   We are particularly keen to hear from those people who are practitioners, governors, and parent and carers of black and racial minority children.
