BUSINESS & ECONOMIC PATHWAY
The global human population has grown rapidly to eight billion, putting even more pressure on the world’s scarce resources. What should we produce, and how should these goods and services be distributed? Economics is the study of how individuals and groups make decisions, using their limited resources best to satisfy their wants, needs, and desires. The course focuses on the broad micro and macroeconomic environments, and will look at current issues, such as inequality, globalisation, climate change, unemployment and inflation. You’ll explore how every aspect of economics and government decisions influences our daily lives.
