As we enter our last week of the Autumn Term and Christmas is nearly upon us, we slowly approach the shortest day:  Sunday 22nd December.  This day indicates a turning point as the days become longer and the winter will soon turn to spring. Whilst we await that point, we have Christmas to enjoy and all that it stands for.

Dear Parents and Carers

With the start of a new week brings the first signs of winter.  Cold, frosty mornings have replaced the wet and windy ones of last week.  Again, this provides me with an opportunity to remind students of the importance of wearing winter clothing to school.  Coats, scarves and gloves should be ideally worn to and from school, now that the temperature has dropped.  Please could students be aware of ice on roads and pavements and the need to walk sensibly to and from school, in these dark winter mornings and evenings.
