OUR PASTORAL CARE: A FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS
At Gateacre School, our comprehensive pastoral care system is the foundation upon which everything else is built. Our dedicated team works cohesively to support every student from the Senior School through to the Sixth Form, ensuring they are happy, secure, and ready to learn.
The team is overseen by Mr. Growcott, our Deputy Head for Behaviour and Conduct, who takes a strategic overview of the whole school. His central aim is for every student to feel happy and secure, with a clear focus on their physical and mental wellbeing.
Our team is made up of a wide range of professionals, all working together to put students at the centre of everything we do.
This includes:
- Teachers and Heads of Year
- Form Tutors
- Our School Nurse, Healthcare Assistant, and First Aiders
- The SENDCO Team
- Our Head of Wellbeing and School Counsellor
