SCHOOL TRIPS: BRINGING LEARNING TO LIFE

At Gateacre School, we believe that academic studies are brought to life by learning outside of the classroom. Our extensive programme of excursions begins with exciting day trips in Year 7 and continues all the way into the Sixth Form, offering residential trips from Year 8 upwards.

We visit a wide range of locations, including conferences, museums, art galleries, theatres, farms, and many other places of interest. Our school benefits from excellent transport links, allowing us to take full advantage of a wealth of opportunities right on our doorstep.

Residential trips allow for more in-depth learning and provide many other benefits, including the development of independence and confidence with time spent away from home. We are proud to offer a fantastic range of domestic and international residential trips that facilitate cultural exposure and help build physical health and well-being. These trips are integral to our holistic approach to education, preparing students for the wider world.
