Staying Safe Online

EMPOWERING OUR STUDENTS

In today's world, technology and digital media are an integrated part of life. At Gateacre School, we are committed to ensuring our students are not only highly IT-literate but also have the knowledge and skills to use technology and the internet in a safe, responsible, and effective way.

We take online safety (or "e-safety") very seriously. It is a core part of our curriculum, with topics covered regularly in PSHEE (Physical, Social, Health & Economics Education) lessons and reinforced during form time activities to ensure the information is retained and understood.

We regularly host interactive workshops led by external agencies, such as Digital Awareness UK. These engaging, relevant, and educational sessions give our students a greater understanding of digital safety not only in their own communities but in the wider world.

If you have any questions or concerns related to e-safety, please do not hesitate to contact our E-Safety Lead, Mr(s). [Name].
